Graduate Software Developer (Sept 2024 start)

As a Graduate Developer at Propel Tech, you will work alongside experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to the development, maintenance, and support of client software applications.

You will be involved in every stage of the development process, from understanding project requirements and writing clean, efficient code to participating in code reviews and developer testing. You'll collaborate closely with project managers and other internal stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet client needs. You'll also have the opportunity to attend client meetings, supporting senior colleagues and learning to manage client expectations.

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.


• Demonstrable experience with academic or personal projects in software development is essential.


• Experience working as or being part of a team, showing strong collaborative skills.


• Advantageous to have completed internships, part-time jobs, or work placements focused on software development.


• Competence in one or more programming languages and basic understanding of web development technologies.


• Knowledge of development tools and environments.


• Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills; effective time management and multitasking abilities.


• A passion for software development, proactive and self-motivated, high attention to detail, and a goal-oriented mindset.
  
  £29,000 starting annual salary
