Full Job Description

We have two business partnering IT Graduate pathways - one is in The IT Data Analytics team (based in St Albans) and one is in the Supply Chain Systems team (based in either St Albans or Lutterworth). Both work with stakeholders across the business - you could be based in either team.

The IT Data Analytics team supports the MAID programme "Modern analytics with Impactful Data". The programme is introducing a new advanced data platform and visualisation tool which will enable the business on the road to outperformance.

As part of the role you will be responsible for:

  • Working with stakeholders across the business and IT

  • Taking business reporting requirements and delivering these through our new business reporting tools

  • Gain an understanding of data platforms, models and queries with SAP BW and AWS redshift and how database development enables front end visualisation to come to life.

  • Build development skills within our visualisation reporting tool

  • Work with the internal analytics team and our partners to deliver analytics requirements

  • Potential to work on new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)


  • The Supply Chain Systems team supports our Supply Chain colleagues in defining and implementing IT solutions to meet business needs. The placement will see you rotate through different parts of the Supply Chain Systems team, gaining experience in areas such as Business Analysis, Project Management, and IT Training whilst building valuable relationships with our colleagues in the wider business.

    As part of the Business Partnering IT Graduate role you will be working with stakeholders across the business and IT for example to:
  • gather business requirements and support project teams in the definition, development and testing of solutions to meet these requirements

  • contributing IT elements to the development of business cases leading to change

  • coordinate and/or lead project teams to ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality

  • develop and potentially deliver end user training to support our colleagues in the business with the adoption of new solutions


  • Travel may be required to different locations for both pathways, which may include overnight stays.

  • Minimum Entry Requirements
  • 3 A Levels - minimum of 280 UCAS points gained

  • Degree qualified 2:1 minimum achieved (or expected)

  • Clear career aspirations demonstrated through employment or work experience/placement

  • The right to work in the UK and English speaking

  • UK driving licence

  • Experience of leadership roles across sports, hobbies or other interests

  • Strong Communicator both oral and written

  • Skiled in Microsoft Suite

  • Relevant degrees: Business Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Management with Information Systems
