GP receptionist

Upwell Street Surgery is a busy doctors surgery based in S4. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic part time receptionist to join our friendly team. We have an opening for 2 half days per week - Monday and Wednesday 1.15pm - 6.15pm for a total of 10 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will relish the challenge of working in general practice, communicating with, and helping our varied and diverse practice population., The role is a mixture of patient facing, telephone and general administration duties. Customer service / patient facing experience and basic IT skills are essential. Previous experience in a health care environment would be helpful but is not essential.

We are a very friendly team consisting of 2 GP Partners, 4 Salaried GP's, 1 GP Retainer, 2 Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and Admin Team.

We are a training practice, and help train future GP's.

The right candidate will start on 4 weeks holiday, plus statutory bank holidays. You will also be eligible for the NHS pension scheme, which is excellent.
