Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, ambitious, hands-on Golf 'Pro-Shop' Manager and, or, PGA Qualified professional to manage the Golf retail business, drive club memberships and increase visitor tee times.

If you are a commercially minded Golf Manager, either newly qualified or with existing experience, and have a friendly personality and customer service approach to business this could be the perfect opportunity to develop your career.

During the Golfing season, the role will require early morning starts and you will be expected to work weekends and Bank holidays.

Must be able to drive and be a car owner.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Managing pro-shop

  • Day to day tee sheet management

  • Till reconciliation

  • Maximising golf revenue

  • Organising corporate golf days and societies

  • Golf buggy and trolley maintenance and management

  • Stock purchasing, costing and pricing

  • Stock control, including monthly stock counts

  • Engaging with members, guests and visitors

  • Attending meetings as required

  • Any other duties deemed appropriate by your line manager.


    • Reporting to the Golf Services Manager, and working closely with the Greenkeeping team and Hotel Operations Manager. There will be the requirement to manage a small team of casual staff during the golfing season.
