Full Job Description

In this Stockroom Manager position, you will oversee the smooth operations of the stockroom, assist the management team and work collaboratively with the wider Glassons team to achieve success throughout the store.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Managing the incoming/outgoing stock and day-to-day administration.

  • Monitoring stock levels.

  • Inventory Management and loss prevention.

  • Handling all returns, faulty or damaged stock.

  • Maintaining the overall organisation and presentation of the stockroom.

  • Work efficiently with floor staff to deliver the best possible customer experience.


  • This role will work Tuesday to Saturday 40-45hrs per week in our Newmarket store and is ideally flexible to cover other shifts when needed., Expertise Retail Sales Assistant, Stockroom Assistant, Stockroom Manager, Instore Visual Merchandiser, Key Holder, Worker in Charge, Management Trainee (4IC), Third in Charge (3IC), Manager in Training, Assistant Manager (2IC)

    To be successful in this role ideally you will come from a background in leading a team to deliver operational excellence while also ensuring the stockroom is operating at the highest level of efficiency.

  • Previous stockroom experience is ideal but not necessary.

  • Excellent organisation skills and shows attention to detail.

  • Goal driven and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confident when undertaking administrative tasks.

  • Displays excellent customer service skills., Job level(s) Entry level experience, Intermediate level experience , Customer service experience, Retail sales experience, Fashion retail experience, Visual merchandiser experience, Management / Supervisory experience
