General Yard Operative

As a Yard Operative, you will be working within a busy and fast paced environment. You will be based within our Warehouse department, and will be responsible for the loading and unloading of raw materials and pallets onto transport vehicles.

A counterbalance license is essential for this role.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a counter balance


• Dealing with scrap reels and trim loading into skips and onto trailers


• Dealing with pallet deliveries and seperation


• Loading/unloading in line with operating instructions and HSE standards


• Responsible for cleaning the site with a sweeper for areas of the yard


• Assisting with receiving of deliveries when required.

· Own transport is essential due to rural location.

· Previous experience within a factory environment desirable.
