Full Job Description

Xscape Rooms are currently looking for a new game master to assist in running their games. We need someone who is enthusiastic, presentable and flexible with their time.

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)


    • Experience:
  • Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)


    • Language:
  • Welsh (preferred)

    We are an award winning independent escape room facility based in Bangor city centre.

  • meet & greet the customers (or teams as we like to call them)

  • make sure they understand our rules and regulations

  • Role playing/acting - this involves being in character for teams as they enter the escape room

  • observe them as they attempt the game and give out relevant clues when asked upon or when necessary to keep them engaged

  • resetting the escape room ready for the next team

  • General Housekeeping/Cleaning (including restroom)

  • and most of all have FUN!


    • Fixed term contract Part-time hours: 10 per week (depending on bookings this will increase)

    Job Type: Temporary/Part-time

    Minimum age 18+ (Lone working & potentially long hours)

    Salary: £8.60 - £11.70 per hour If the position is made permanent after the fixed term there will be an increase in salary.

    Additional pay:

    On call bonus pay (we pay a bonus if you come in to work a last minute shift for them spontaneous last minute bookings!)
