Full Job Description

  • To provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone's individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.

  • Promote the health, well-being, physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we support and ensure they are met in an inclusive way.

  • Facilitating social, educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.

  • General housekeeping duties that can include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.

  • As part of the role, you will need to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)

    We support up to 4 adults in a residential care home and 1 resident each in supported living houses for residents with a range of support needs including learning disabilities, autism and other complex care needs. We empower each person to live life the way they choose to.


  • The purpose-built residential and supported living accommodation is decorated and furnished to support individual preferences. The many communal spaces throughout the building include TV lounges, a life skills kitchens, a sensory room, an activity room and a fully adapted bathroom.

    You will be required to undergo relevant pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: £12.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
