Full Job Description
We are looking for a Front End Developer to help us continue to develop and improve our web product. Your role will work on existing and new web-based products for the education market globally, focusing on primary education. We have a range of core products Spelling Shed, Phonics Shed and MathShed that is currently scaling globally.
You will work on our web systems, primarily working to deliver a high quality experience to teachers. You may also work across other areas of our system as required. You will be looking for a role that will challenge you, where you can make a big impact, grow your career as our company grows and expect to be part of a great success story.
We aim to be modern in our approach and our engineers love the fact that we solve challenges like scaling globally, and building systems used by the teaching, parent and primary school community.
Our Tech Stack is a mix of the following
- AWS
- TypeScript across the stack
- Vue3
- Tailwind
- Nuxt
- Node.js / Express
- Aurora MySQL
- Redis (Elasticache)
- Circle CI
- App Engine / Lambda
- Socket.io
- A solid developer with experience in building scalable web services with exposure to TypeScript and reactive front-end frameworks such as Vue.Js or React.js. Other technologies like Nuxt.js, Webpack, or full stack / back end knowledge would be great to have.
