Full Job Description

As a result of ongoing expansion, we are on the lookout for a skilled Framework Manager for Municiple Water to join our growing sales team in Water Utilities for UK & Ireland.

What is the job about?

The successful candidate will work autonomously across functional areas applying subject matter knowledge and demonstrating technical and business insights. In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong municipal customer relationships to increase framework sales.

You will also identify potential customers, establish business relationships, and develop strategies to achieve the 2024 goals.

Your main responsibilities:

The Framework Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts, analyzing and researching focused customers or markets, and developing strong relationships with key decision-makers. Supporting all aspects of the sales process is also a crucial responsibility of the Framework Manager to ensure maximum value proposition.

You will also:

  • Proactively strive to maximize the framework presence of Grundfos in focused municipal accounts by ensuring that all possible Grundfos products are applied.

  • Contribute to developing and taking the lead in growing and supporting framework agreements that are aligned with a specific area of focus and key municipal customers

  • Contribute to mutually beneficial process improvement and productivity gains at account level.

  • Register / Monitor and nurture all activities with framework customers in the CRM tool.


  • The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week. We would anticipate that you will be in our Leighton Buzzard head office 3 days per week with the possibility to work from home the other two days.

  • Understanding wastewater processes/engineering or electrical or commercial background/knowledge.

  • A good level of experience with bidding for, securing, retaining, administrating, and managing Municipal framework agreements with UK/I Water Companies and Tier1 Contractors.

  • Ideally (not essential) a Bachelor's degree or qualifications in water, supply chain, purchasing, project management or similar.

  • Experience working in a team developing, leading strategies within a business environment.

  • Ability to influence others and good communication and Interpersonal Skills

  • Competent IT skills including ideally knowledge of SAP CRM and ERP platforms.
