Forklift Driver / Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials, move them to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks, and perform various warehouse tasks. Your attention to detail, ability to handle heavy lifting, and knowledge of warehouse operations will contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations., Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift or other equipment
- Transport materials to designated areas in the warehouse
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring proper labelling and storage of materials
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or similar role
- Valid forklift certification/license
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and procedures
- Proficient in basic math skills for inventory management
- Ability to operate a forklift safely in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment repair is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required

Working hours - Monday to Friday - 7:30am - 4pm, overtime is a necessity within this role, this is paid at time and a third after 40 hours.
