Full Job Description

We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Front of House Staff at our lively village pub. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our guests have a memorable experience. Whether you're greeting patrons with a warm smile, taking orders efficiently, or ensuring the smooth running of service, or serving at the bar, your dedication to customer satisfaction will be the cornerstone of our success.,

  • Welcome guests warmly as they arrive at the pub, providing excellent customer service from the moment they walk through the door.

  • Seat guests and assist with table allocation, taking into account reservations and walk-in customers.

  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and card transactions with care.

  • Engage with customers, building rapport and creating a welcoming atmosphere

  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are prepared and served promptly.

  • Serve food and beverages to tables, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Anticipate the needs of guests and respond promptly to any requests or concerns, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the bar, including stocking and replenishing supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing work areas.

  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining & bar area.

  • Collaborate with other front-of-house staff and management to uphold high standards of service and hospitality.

    Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a pub or restaurant environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
