Full Job Description

KPMG's People Services EMX Solutions team has an urgent need for resource to assist with supporting the design and implementation of client flexible benefit schemes on Elements Platform. As such, an opportunity exists for an associate who will be based in London's Canary Wharf office., The permanent role will be working on supporting the delivery of client projects in a wide variety of sectors with the assistance of senior members of the team.

Flexible Benefits (Flex) is a key growth area for their People Services practice. The base model for the business is well developed, and this is a very exciting time to join this already successful team.

What will you be doing?

The role also involves the implementation of Flexible Benefits schemes including:

  • Ensure that the team provides a high-quality service to KPMG's prospective and existing clients including all aspects of Flex design, advice, and ongoing administration services; and

  • Undertaking a range of tasks during the lifecycle of each project, this includes:


  • Project Support
  • Supporting various coordination activities on the annual renewal are project managed according to set timescales agreed by the client; and

  • To ensure that work is carried out to a high quality and in an efficient and profitable manner.

  • Ability to think ahead and think of possible project pitfalls.


  • Supporting Client Relationship Building
  • Building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients and providing high levels of client service by providing key support; and

  • Escalating matters for any issues encountered


  • Employee Communications Support
  • Draft employee communications & work with our CREATE team for creation of any visuals; and

  • Support clients on the best possible methods and approaches for a strong employee communication proposition & strategy.


  • Scheme & Benefit Design Support
  • Support changes in the scheme design document and change management.

  • Benefit Provider liaison for broking risk and non-risk benefits


  • Online System Implementation
  • Support testing & task management using JIRA.

  • Support System implementation for the employee benefit election process; and

  • Data manipulation and interpretation


  • Team Strategy & Development
  • Work autonomously with minimal need for guidance,


  • Input to business and team strategy/development; and


  • To proactively monitor client accounts, report to Managers on any fee issues and assist Managers with the billing duties.


  • Business Development Support
  • Assist senior members with sales activities such as proposal responses and presentations., With 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.     Proven track experience working in a project support / analyst role; ideally in an HR/Reward/Benefits/Pensions/People practice.

  • Strong project support skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data effectively.

  • Good experience at using/testing different online technology platforms.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Able to work under pressure and in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Good experience at problem-solving.

  • Well organised and able to deliver to agreed timescales and expected quality standards.

  • Confidence and credibility to manage relationships with demanding senior business stakeholders.

  • Excellent IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and preferably Access and Project.

  • Commercially aware and capable of providing support to a complex and changing client group.

  • Flexibility to learn and adapt to different working practices within the EMX Solutions team.

  • Experience of implementing Flexible Benefits scheme(s)/HR/Reward and online/digital technology system(s).
