What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive fire risk assessments and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations


• Provide expert advice on DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) to ensure workplace safety


• Develop and implement fire safety and DSEAR policies and procedures


• Train and mentor staff on fire safety and DSEAR best practices


• Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks


• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all statutory requirements are met
  
  Extensive experience in fire safety and DSEAR management


• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices


• Excellent communication and training skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, Professional certifications in Fire Risk Assessment or Fire Safety (CFPA, NEBOSH Fire Certificate, Level 4 Diploma).


• Minimum GIFireE qualification or equivalent with a background in Fire Safety Management.


• Membership of relevant bodies (e.g., NAHFO, IFE, IFSM, IOSH).


• Experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments and inspections.


• Experience in Hazardous Area Classification


• Detailed knowledge of relevant fire safety legislation and regulations.


• Experience with DSEAR/ATEX Risk Assessments and hazardous area classification.
