Full Job Description

Reporting directly to Head of Financial Control, the Financial Accounting Manager is a role which requires sound technical accounting, financial reporting, tax, systems and process transformation. Internal controls and compliance expertise.

The successful candidate will have a primary responsibility of ensuring integrity, accuracy and completeness of financial controls in place and same are effectively implemented.

Interviews will take place on the 14th June via Microsoft teams.

About the role

Your main duties will include:

  • Preparation, review and submission of financial information (financial statement, footnotes and other supplementary information).

  • Developing and publishing annual reports.

  • Ensuring all legal reporting requirements are met (for example Statutory Accounts, VAT return, ONS, CQC, housing and NROSH reporting).

    Qualified ACCA/ACA

  • Strong people and team leadership skills and the ability to manage team members and their performance remotely.

  • Experience of producing management accounts, reviewing financial statements, negotiating contracts and producing reports

  • Good (Intermediate level) Microsoft Excel knowledge, with the ability to use other Microsoft packages
