Full Job Description

As a Systems Analyst in the Finance Systems User Support Team within Global Finance Operations (GFO), you'll provide support to our business partners in Sky Europe (UKI, Germany, Italy) to maintain a well-controlled and efficient environment in our finance systems.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the period close activities, and perform some period close entries, including running FX Revaluation, FX Translation, Accrual Reversals, and opening & closing ledgers.

  • Own the master data maintenance activities.

  • Provide 2nd line support for issues raised by users on our ticketing system. Identify root cause of these issues and see resolution through to its conclusion.

  • Manage and or execute User Acceptance Testing and Regression Testing and cut-over activities for changes generated by individual users or on larger projects.

  • Perform Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

    You will be a financial professional with great experience and knowledge of SAP.

  • You will likely have worked with or for large and complex organisations.

  • In systems support roles, you will have had experience in master data management and user support.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to communicate at all levels effectively.

  • Ability to recommend improvements.
