Full Job Description

We are looking for a fixed term finance officer to join our team. This post is fixed term to cover a period of maternity leave. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team and support our students and staff.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, the postholder will play a key role in the School's finance team, managing all external and research accounts, including monitoring budget expenditure across the full extent of accounts, providing regular scheduled reports, and ad hoc reports when required, to budget holders, to ensure that expenditure remains within budget constraints, identifying potential under/overspends and areas of risk.

The Finance team sits within the finance & operations team in the Sheffield University Management School which supports varied activities including Finance, HR, Recruitment & Health & Safety.
