FINANCE OFFICER

Term Time including INSET Days plus one week

(Hours 10am - 5pm )

SCALE 4/5 depending on experience

36 hours per week . 40 weeks per year

£24577- £27981

An exciting position has arisen at this large, multi-cultural 11-18 community school to work as a Finance Officer.

We are looking to recruit an experienced, well-presented and articulate finance officer to work in this fast-paced secondary school environment. Duties will include assisting the Assistant School Business Manager in the school's financial administration, managing the functions, staff and resources of the finance office, and administration of parent pay.

Previous school experience is desirable; however the person appointed should have a 'C' grade at GCSE English and Maths together with previous financial experience and a level 2 accountancy qualification or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills and be willing to learn and adapt quickly.
