Finance Manager

This is an opportunity to not only be the financial pulse of a growing business but also to proactively influence its direction., As the Commercial Finance Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, managing budgets, tracking performance, and identifying and mitigating financial risks. You'll collaborate across departments to align financial strategy with business objectives and drive operational efficiencies., Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and implement financial plans to support strategic decision-making.


• Present clear and informative financial analysis to the leadership team.


Budget Management:

• Oversee the creation and management of budgets aligned with business objectives.


• Collaborate across the group to gather inputs for accurate forecasts.


Performance Tracking:

• Establish key performance indicators to evaluate financial performance.


• Measure contributions to the wider group's success.


Risk Management:

• Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.


• Ensure compliance with industry regulations.


Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior leadership.


• Provide insights and recommendations for improving performance.


Financial Modelling:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning.


• Conduct scenario analysis to aid decision-making.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with product, marketing, risk, and compliance teams to align financial strategy.


• Build effective cross-functional relationships across the group.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferable) and Microsoft Excel.


Desirable Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in retail or retail consumer finance.


• Understanding of financial systems, processes, and regulatory requirements.


• Professional Certification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
