Job Description Summary
The finance function plays an important role in supporting the business, and the finance intern will be assigned to clusters and will have the opportunity to work with our Financial Planning & Analysis, Controllership, Operations and/or Commercial teams. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands on finance experience, with significant responsibility and exposure in a range of areas
Job Description
What you'll do:
- Promote good cross-functional relations and provide excellent service to all our stakeholders on any type of requests.
- Support the preparation of the weekly pacing and periodical planning cycles for the Cluster's profitability applying standard work (eg. collect and prepare inputs, collect updates from Operational/ Commercial teams as required)
- Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by preparing ledger reports, journal entries and ledger checks.
- Prepare or review assigned quarterly account reconciliations.
- Prepare finance inputs for the annual margin review process.
- Support periodical audits (internal and external)
- Work on ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Finance Manager
- Identify LEAN projects to drive standard work and continuous improvement within our scope.
- Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and inter-personal skills
- Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel, Word and Power point)
- Fluency in English with good written and presentation skills
- Possession of necessary work/residency permits to work in the UK
- Energetic, intelligent, driven candidates with a high level of integrity
- Prior experience working with Microsoft
- MSc in Business, Accounting or Finance
- Studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance
