Finance Data Analyst

We have a fantastic Financial Analyst opportunity to join us at an exciting period of change within the Finance Reporting & Analytics Centre of Excellence (CoE).In these forward thinking and impactful role you will be responsible for scoping, building and maintaining advance analytical models within a digital platform to enable the business to effectively identify and deliver enhanced operational performance.You will be focused on the technical aspects of the role but also on continuous improvement and making a positive influence on business decisions.This is a superb opportunity to work with a diverse team of people across various parts of the business.This position provides a flexible hybrid work arrangement, requiring attendance at our London, Stevenage, or Manchester office for one day each week.What you'll do:Supporting the regional CoE by channelling the needs of your stakeholders & championing regional solutionsScope, build and maintenance of advance analytical models within
a digital platform to enable the business to effectively identify and deliver enhanced operational performanceAct as a business partner to Finance, Service Platforms and Operational Functions, to identify and deliver efficiencies and maximise opportunitiesLeverage the digitalisation of the business systems and functions and provide leadership and insight management of the financial reporting platforms associated with new business systemsDeliver standard monthly financial management reporting and key performance indicators.Utilising analytics when partnering with finance and operational managers to identify and embed performance improving activitiesData Engineering - continuous development and management of analytical database architectureLead the digitalisation of company systems and initiatives. Bring meaning and understanding to the data and influence improved business performanceAnalyse and identify financial or commercial trends and provide insight in order to improve performance

What you bring:Good all rounder when it comes to analytics & digitisation with experience in data modelling, content design, commercial analysis & stakeholder engagement.A genuine drive for analytics, with strong expertise in Power BI and Microsoft Excel (inc VBA), as well as good working knowledge of Power Automate & Power Apps.Graduate calibre, ideally with a background or qualification in finance or statisticsCritical you have strong & practical problem solving skills, backed by aptitude, agility & commercial acumen.Highly focused on attention to detail, personal performance & accountabilityAbility to influence decision making within a business and improving performance with substantial profit impact.Able to work with directional requirements, work autonomously towards a plan but have the skills to re-prioritise if needed.Can demonstrate an, ability to build relationships at all levels across an organisationHighly collaborative, understanding what it
