Finance Assistant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant will support other members of the team, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with the monitoring and management of the shared accounts mailbox. Forwarding emails to the relevant account's person.



• Ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier and customer invoices on to company accounts software.



• Basic bookkeeping duties to keep track of incoming and outgoing payments.



• Performing credit control activities and providing information to support cash flow forecasting and management.



• Maintaining records of all debt chase activities and customer communication.



• Responding to telephone and email enquiries from customers, suppliers and colleagues, dealing with them in a professional and efficient way.



• Any other relevant ad-hoc duties to support the finance team.
  
  The successful candidate will have, and be able to demonstrate, the following skills


• Confident and professional manner by phone and email.



• Self-disciplined, with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask.



• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.



• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.



• Fully computer literate and experience in using accounting software.



• Quickbooks experience preferred.
