Finance Apprentice 2024

As a Finance Apprentice, you'll handle financial reporting, track costs and overheads, and manage month-end tasks. You'll support the Parker Meggitt Team in staying up to date with billing, cash collections and credit risk whilst resolving queries and manage payments., As a Finance Apprentice, you'll become a key player in Parker Meggitt's financial operations! You'll contribute to weekly and monthly forecasting updates, helping the team to track performance against budget goals. Additionally, you'll ensure the smooth operation of standard processes, systems, and controls whilst also playing a crucial role in annual audits, working alongside both internal and external auditors.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Financial reporting such as cost of sales, overheads and month end tasks.


• Keeping up to date with processes, systems and controls with particular focus on billing, cash application, cash collections, credit risk, dispute resolution and query management


• Supporting the wider business on query resolution, exception payments, credits & debits and capital investments. operation of standard process, systems and controls


• Supporting annual audits from both internal and external auditors


• Weekly and monthly updates of forecasting to track performance versus budget
