Finance Apprentice

This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join the Falmouth Finance Team, at Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Solutions, which is part of Spirax-Sarco Engineering plc, a FTSE 100 company. Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team with the day-to-day running of the accounting function and other related finance tasks.,

• Using Microsoft Dynamics AX software to maintain the nominal ledger and accounts


• Reconciliations of balance sheet accounts


• Prepayments and accruals


• Fixed asset process control, postings and reporting


• Intercompany processing


• Transactional processing (credit cards and journal entry)


• Identifying and supporting with continuous improvements in process and controls


• Any other ad hoc duties as requested by line manager or Financial Controller.
  
  GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/grade C or above


• 2 x A Levels / BTEC or Equivalent


• Ability to work collaboratively & communicate effectively with internal & external stakeholders.


• Self-disciplined and efficient, with a positive, flexible and proactive nature.


• Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills with a good attention to detail.


• Ability to prioritize & manage multiple tasks.


Desirable
