Are you looking for a role which provides genuine substance to support your accounting qualification whether it be CIMA or ACCA?

Are you stuck in the traditional part qualified world where the scope of your day to day routine is limited and you're stuck in the tick box world to just get through?

The role will be reporting into the Finance Manager (Central Functions) and to provide management accounting and analytical support to the central functions.

We are keen for you to stretch your skills and ambition in a business that provides all the range of challenges you are looking to fulfil to make you a better, commercially focussed finance professional. You'll never be short of challenges and opportunities across our group.

The role we are proposing is working within a commercially biassed Analysis role. You'll be involved with some exciting, challenging and high profile projects., Responsible for month end activities of these cost centres including journal entries, variance analysis on the P&L accounts & balance sheet reconciliations
Business partner to a small group of cost centre owners in the central functions.

Assist the team Finance Business Partners with month end preparation, purchase ledger analysis activities and balance sheet reconciliations.

Along with the above you will also:-

  • Prepare and assist Finance Business Partners in the preparation of financial plans (budgets/forecasts).

  • Develop reports using various tools including, Cloud based technology such as Google and Excel

  • Ad Hoc analysis and investigation work as required

  • Participate in year end analysis and support with auditors queries.

  • Strive to improve processes and reduce time on data production so analysis becomes the key focus.

    In order to succeed in this position, you'll need to be confident in building relationships across the business. We're looking for someone to really take the initiative, as well as being ambitious and keen to progress. It is important that you have great attention to detail, can work as a part of a team and also on your own.


  • Along with the above, you will need to be part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA OR CIMA) or with a relevant degree and intention to study.
    Hold strong working knowledge of accounting, budgeting and forecasting principles.
