Full Job Description
Working within an existing Finance and Accounts team, using Sage Intact & Yooz, the main responsibilities of this role will be:
Purchase Ledger:
- Receive supplier invoices
- Matching PO numbers with invoices on the Yooz system
- Chasing Approval Managers to Approve the PO's & Invoices on the system for them to approve.
- Seek approval from relevant department managers
- Accurately and timely input of invoices into Sage system
- Resolve all internal and supplier queries
- Provide a weekly report of all purchase ledger activities to the Management Accountant
- Running pay runs, raising ad hoc payments and checking the pay runs prior to approval.
- Sending remittances to suppliers
- Requesting and reconciling supplier statements on a monthly basis and resolving reconciling items.
- Validating and processing expense claims
- Checking, coding and processing Barclaycard statements
- Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger
- Process and code cashbook and petty cash returns from the services.
- Monitoring and controlling the day to day incomes and expenditures of the business
- Dealing with supplier and customer queries by email and telephone
- Ordering, checking petty cash for distribution to services
