Festival and Events Security Operative

SB Security Solutions Ltd are actively seeking SIA Licenced security operatives to join our dynamic team on outdoor events, festivals and camping sites.

We are looking for for security operatives to work at various locations, such as Silverstone, Brighton and London

The position is part time, on a zero hours contract.

Responsibilities

- Oversee guest flow, in and out of event campsites, ensuring a safe and secure environment

- Conduct thorough security checks at entry points

- Monitor and control access to venue campsites

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and venue/campsite policy

- Thoroughly check credentials to verify access to restricted areas

- Interact with the public in a friend manner, assisting with directions and general queries

- Confident when dealing with customer queries.

- Can recognise conflict and disturbances in a fast-paced environment

- Has a keen eye for detail

- Has excellent decision making skills

- Can stand or walk for extended periods of time

Requirements

- Must have an active SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Close Protection)

- Must complete and provide copies of ACT Certificates (ACT Awareness and ACT Security)

- Must have completed a First Aid Course (Minimum EFAAW)

- Must have clear spoken English

- Must provide a 5 year checkable employment history, with contact details for referencing

- Own travel into and within London and surrounding areas required. Valid driving licence preferable
