This opportunity will see you focus on maintaining our high standards of quality and sustainability throughout the fabric lifecycle and build long-term working relationships with mills.

In this role you will be working in close collaboration with the Head of Fabric and the Fabric Admin Assistant to ensure timely development and management of fabrics for our seasonal collections. Key accountabilities include:

  • Contacting fabric mills for sample availability, pricing and lead times and building a working relationship with key supplier mills

  • Collaborating across departments to manage fabric sample orders for main range, limited, press and fabric trials

  • Setting up and maintaining our in-house fabric library, establishing monthly fabric folders, filing sample fabrics by department and mill and cataloguing into relevant folders

  • Attending weekly fabric meetings with the wider business, leading the conversation in the absence of the Head of Fabric and managing sourcing requests

  • Ensuring all fabric and trims costings are accurately added to the fabric tracker and sample orders are updating on the system

  • Working closely with the Fabric Admin Assistant - assisting in prioritising their workload across Whistles and our sister brand, Hobbs
