Experienced and Insured Dog Walker / Sitter / Handler (for 3-5 Dogs)

We are searching for a confident, experienced, insured and passionate animal carer to provide flexible cover on a beautiful private estate for weekend day walk cover (mainly Saturdays) leading to holiday & adhoc cover (some overnight). This is a rural location so your own transport is essential.

There are 5 dogs and 2 cats on the estate, originally rescued from Spain, which are separated into two groups. The largest of these groups consists of 3 dogs, 2 of which are brothers of a large mixed breed and 1 smaller. This group requires a lot of confidence and experience with dog pack behaviour as they can become quite rowdy and can display prey-drive on walks.

Currently the groups do not mix, spend little to no time unsupervised and are walked up to three times a day across the several stunning private fields/paddocks. Access is controlled by radio so that no groups meet.

Initially, cover will be a Weekend (mainly Saturday) possibly leading to holiday cover, which will include overnight stays. All equipment and living requirements for both animals and humans are provided, with a chance to enjoy the beautiful countryside location.

In time we would hope that the candidates could extend their duties to include cover for the other animals. All of the dogs are over 10 years old so experience with oral medication and therapies would be an advantage.
