Full Job Description

At our John Crane office in Slough, we're seeking a proactive and experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive support to two Vice Presidents within our organisation.

As an Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our VP's offices. You will be responsible for managing their busy schedules, coordinating meetings and appointments, and handling a wide range of administrative tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Proactively manage complex calendars and schedules for two Vice Presidents, including arranging meetings, appointments, and conference calls.


  • Handle extensive inbox management, prioritising and highlighting emails.


  • Coordinate detailed travel arrangements, including booking flights, hotels, transportation, and visas, while optimising for cost efficiency and traveller preferences.


  • Prepare and submit expense reports in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents, maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.


  • Act as a point of contact and liaison between the VP's office and internal/external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in all interactions.


  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and integrity.

    Ideally at least 3 years' experience in a similar role, , supporting senior executives in a fast-paced environment.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organisation.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
