Full Job Description

  • Day to day management of a variety of assigned events from concept to completion including budgeting, venue search and negotiation, on-site logistics, AV/Production, corporate gifts, speakers/entertainment sourcing, delegate support materials, registration portal, invitations and other delegate focussed comms;

  • Record Schroders Health & Safety, risk assessment and insurance responsibilities for compliance purposes, and annual record of hospitality inducements;

  • Team knowledge sharing on suitable solutions for event requirements and ideas;

  • Understand the annual calendar of events managed by central events team and

  • Brand development through events.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a business-minded and technology-savvy individual to join a forward-thinking team within a market-leading asset management firm., 5 years minimum of managing own events end to end, this should include virtual, hybrid and in-person events;

  • A results and action orientated approach; ability to drive projects through to completion delivering clearly defined results or impact;

  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure;

  • Maintains an up to date knowledge of industry changes;

  • Ability and willingness to learn processes and procedures;

  • Client focused, able to provide excellent level of client service;

  • Maintains high professional standards of conduct and practice and

  • Good written and oral communication skills at all levels, for internal and external audiences.
