Event Operations Executive

The Event Operations Executive will represent Goose & Berry in front of clients, venue contacts and suppliers. We are looking for a professional, highly organised candidate with a proactive approach to assisting with event operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, interpersonal and guest relation skills, enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment as well as being able to manage their own time when working on a project. Experience in a similar environment is ideal as well an energetic, driven mindset with a natural ability to problem solving.,

• Assisting with the planning and delivery of all events


• Ensure all resources and consumables are ordered, received, available, and assigned, as appropriate for each event in a timely manner and within agreed budgets


• Recruiting, booking and managing all event staff


• Managing transport and logistics


• Sourcing equipment for events and liaising with suppliers


• Working at events both front and back of house, assist in the opening or closing down of the event. Meeting venue standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety


• Responsible for all kit


• Assisting with maintaining office cleanliness at all times


• Dealing with maintenance requirements


• General office administration


• Keep inventory lists up to date and run regular cost comparisons on kit and consumables
  
  Excellent communication skills


• Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills


• Proficiency in MS office


• Available to work evenings, weekend & bank holidays


• UK Driving license due to travel to events


• Previous events experience desirable
