Full Job Description

  • An additional two-week annual leave break at Christmas.

  • Regular team socials and events.

  • The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

  • International travel, you will attend around four fully paid for global events a year, each for around 2-4 days.


  • As the Event Audience Executive, you will be working for a successful company established in 2009 within the events industry They specialise in organising global events for the Armed Forces and they have grown to become one of the leading providers of information for the global defence community and their events are chaired by leading figures from the Army and Navy.

    You will be working within the Audience Team as an Event Audience Executive. The team focus on bringing together a more diverse and senior-level audience than any other event in their market. As the Event Audience Executive you will be at the heart of all that they do, and you will play a critical role in the success of their events. This is a fast-paced team who enjoy the challenge of researching, networking, and holding daily conversations with some of the world's most decorated and senior military figures. They are looking for someone who has a curious mind and is not afraid to ask questions. This is a sales phone-based role where you will be conducting international calls with the goal of confirming senior ranking services personnel to attend their events free of charge as a VIP.

  • A valid passport to travel.

  • To live within a reasonable distance of Chelmsford.

  • To have an extremely clear and professional telephone manner.

  • Confidence to speak to senior ranking personnel within the Armed Forces.

  • Recent office based telephone sales experience.

  • Graduates with no sales experience, with a passion to get into event sales will be considered.

  • Ex-military with no sales experience, with a passion to get into event sales will also be considered.

  • To be driven, motivated, enthusiastic, and confident to work to sales targets.

  • Passion to work alongside the Armed Forces.

  • If you have any exposure to the Armed Forces such as the Army, Navy, Royal Air Force or Cadets (either yourself, your friends, or your family) it would be highly beneficial, but this is not essential.
