European Transport Planner

Plan and schedule transport routes efficiently, whilst managing the drivers hours
- Coordinate with drivers and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor transport costs and maintain accurate records
- Utilise Transport Management systems to track vehicles and shipments
- Communicate effectively with drivers, suppliers, and customers
- Address any transport issues promptly to minimise disruptions
- Manage customs requirements including MRN's and GMR's

We are currently seeking a European Transport Planner to join our team in coordinating and optimising transport operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in European planning, good geographical knowledge of mainland Europe, strong organisational skills and be proficient in IT systems, particularly Excel., Proficiency in Excel and other IT systems
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in transport planning is a must
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Leadership qualities to guide and support transport teams
