Estimator - Roofing

We are currently seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for carrying out estimating for the department, together with the submission of quotations., Review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating
- Analyse labour, material, and time requirements for each project
- Prepare detailed estimates including labour, material costs, equipment, and subcontractor bids
- Present estimates to management and clients in a clear and professional manner
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget
- Utilise cost control techniques to manage expenses effectively

Proven experience as an Estimator in the roofing or construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and suppliers
