Estates Surveyor (MAT Cover)

We are looking for an Estates Surveyor to joining the Property Team at our Carlton Park Office in Leicester.

As the Estates Surveyor, your rolewill include developing key relationships with major institutions and Landlords. More specifically you will be required to achieve pre-approved rent and rate savings against budget; negotiating rent reviews with landlords to keep rents to a minimum. The Estates Surveyor will also be required to manage property agreements, documenting with solicitors where necessary and liaising with them to ensure the on-time completion of a project in line with the corporate objectives.

Another part of the role will also be assisting with new site acquisitions and disposing of sites that are no longer required,. The role requires a high degree of cross-functional working and in particular with external bodies that manage aspects of the estate business. The Estates Surveyor will manage all external surveyors, ensuring that the Company interests are protected.

The Estates Surveyor is required to communicate effectively across the business, influencing key stakeholders both internally and externally. They will embrace and drive client-centric process throughout the business and demonstrate the ability to manage change, and facilitate positive and effective change within the team. They will consistently demonstrate a passion for the business and for the role.
