Estates Mechanical Chargehand

Support the Mechanical Supervisor in the safe operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and installations within the Trust estate,;

+ To supervise Technicians, Craftsmen and Maintenance Support Staff, to ensure an effective and efficient workforce is provided delivering maintenance activities, this will be achieved via the trusts CAFM system (MICAD
+ To assist and support the Estates Mechanical Manager in ensuring the Property Maintenance Department operates within all Health and Safety guidelines, and that all Statutory and Mandatory obligations for the Trust
+ To undertake the duties of Competent Persons/Authorised person or SME one or more specialists systems i.e. Mechanical systems/Pressure systems/lifts, ventilation system or water systems
+ To act up as Mechanical Manager when required.
