We have an exciting opportunity for an Estates Coordinator to join HCA at The Harborne Hospital. You will work as part of the Estates Team, managing the facility service requirements at our brand new hospital.

The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital.

Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has a deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.

Having opened in January 2024, the Harborne Hospital is the 4th NHS partnership within this network, partnering with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust.

What you'll do:

  • Maintain the local service level agreements for maintenance and repairs by renewing expired contracts, maintaining services dates, invoices and works reports

  • Assist with medical device management administration

  • Arrange audits

  • Attend & Participate in HCA & NHS Trust Health and Safety committee meetings

  • Raising and placing purchase orders

  • Collate statistics/data for reporting

  • Administrative support for Estates department

  • To manage correspondence and telephone enquiries

  • Maintain and file accurate records

    Previous experience in a similar role within a healthcare setting is essential

  • Computer literate

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
