Equine Veterinary Surgeon

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated team player with good communication skills and some experience in equine practice, to join us for 3+ months to cover a colleague on sick leave. The position is available from now and potentially with view to a longer term position.

We have a diverse client base from pleasure horses up to top level competition horses.

We are very supportive and encourage development of individual clinical interests.

We have great quality mobile kit: endoscopes, gastroscope, digital xray systems, orthopaedic and repro ultrasound scanners, Class IV therapeutic laser, shockwave system.

We work with several mobile medical and surgical specialists aswell as enjoying good relations with excellent local referral facilities

We currently benefit from the support of a dedicated out-of-hours vet team which enables us to operate an extended OOH rota.

· OOH 1:10 weekends and 1 night every other week

· 4.5 day working week, 31 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) pro rata
