Equine Groom Level 2 Apprentice Kilnhanger Stables

Duties will include all aspects of horse care, e.g.

• Grooming


• Mucking out


• Trimming and clipping


• Plaiting


• Lunging training


• Riding and exercise of horses


• Health care


• Feeding


• Assisting with events


• Assisting with customer care and experience


• Sole responsibility at times


• Chance to compete and go to training venues
  
  Functional Skills Maths and English Level 2 if not exempt (certificates to be provided for exemption), Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Patience, Physical fitness, Good Sense of humour, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4) Desired
