Full Job Description

As a site operative at Ebsford Environmental you will be an integral part of the team, supporting the site managers and operatives installing a variety of materials, operating specialist equipment and taking water quality sampling/records. You will receive a comprehensive training and development programme including funded external qualifications such as CSCS Card, First Aid at Work and Water Safety Training. As we are a nationwide contract you will be required to work away from home on a regular basis.

The course you have studied does not need to be a direct fit but if you have transferable skills and a desire to make a difference to the environment we live in and to learn and grow with the business then that is just as important to us. Ideally you will have a current valid driving licence or in the process of obtaining your licence.

Ebsford Environmental offer advanced contracting solutions for aquatic restoration and vegetation management across the UK in a multitude of locations from world heritage sites and national parks to urbanised canals and brownfield development sites.

The projects are delivered by our enthusiastic and ambitious site team, many that have progressed through the variety of opportunities that are on offer to them, from apprentices to multi skilled plant operators, site managers and project delivery managers.

A competitive salary with a variety of additional benefits, including working away allowance, evening meal expenses, good standard of accommodation arranged for you in advance and a wealth of training and development to support your progression in Ebsford.

We also offer 28 days annual leave (inc. Bank Holidays) with additional annual leave for longevity of service, a contributory pension scheme, employee assistance and financial support programmes, cashback on medical expenses, access to the Governments Bike2Work Scheme and paid time off for volunteering. We will also provide you with full PPE and an iPhone.

Ebsford is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
