Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our team. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from conception to completion. This role requires strong time management skills and expertise CAPEX Project Management

Duties:

- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables

- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration

- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project risks

- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members

- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management

· Strong engineering background.

· Experience of Project Management best practice: Risk Management, Stakeholder Management, Compliance Management, Configuration Management.

· Experience of delivering significant project/programmes on time and to cost.

· Flexibility and adaptability to ensure tasks are prioritised appropriately.

· Understanding of fundamental engineering principles and manufacturing processes.

· Experience working with sub-suppliers.

· Experience in managing small teams of engineers and project personnel.

· Experience of dealing with clients.

· Experience of project management across the various phases; from project conception and initiation to project close.

· Whilst not essential, a Project Management qualification would be highly beneficial (PRINCE2, APM, PMI)

· Experience of delivering significant project/programmes on time and to cost.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.,
