Full Job Description

Engineering Technician, supporting production processes from diffusion through to final test.

Tasks will include:

  • Supporting engineers in investigating process yield issues

  • Supporting engineers in investigating and implementing process improvement opportunities

  • Testing products going through trials and evaluation.

  • Supporting yield improvement activities

  • Creating reports on results following six sigma techniques

  • Presenting idea to the team

  • Participating in team projects and helping to drive improvement forward

  • Training given at Wilson Tools during daily role as well as attending taught sessions at New College Swindon

  • After a further period of skills and technical knowledge development all apprentices will be required to achieve the following qualification Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) - Technical Support
