Full Job Description

The post holder will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing investigations into reported breaches of planning control, to ensure that development is managed in a way that delivers the objectives of the development plan for the area and ensures public faith in the planning system. The post holder will also be responsible for managing planning applications and appeal work arising from enforcement action., Candidates must possess the necessary 'right to work in the UK' authorisation. We are unable to provide sponsorship or assume sponsorship of an employment visa as we do not possess a visa sponsorship licence.

The successful candidate will have qualifications and experience in town planning, be well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. They must have good communication and negotiation skills and the ability to motivate staff and provide assistance to others to resolve problems.
