Full Job Description

RMF are seeking an dedicated, results driven employment coach to support our learners into employment

As an Employment Coach, you will be ensuring learners progress into their chosen construction career path by; providing individual and specific advice, support and guidance, developing interview skills, explaining and developing job search methods and re-building learners confidence following a period of unemployment.

You will be working with the learners both face to face and remotely to achieve a positive outcome into suitable sustainable employment.,

  • An element of employer engagement to help identify vacancies for participants across the regions in which RMF operate

  • Engage with learners at the start of their learning journey and engage throughout the programme, ensuring seamless transition into employment

  • Actively manage a case load of learners ensuring those who secure their own employment are supported to maintain employment and these details are captured

  • The ideal candidate should also be willing to and comfortable with delivering basic employability training both in a group and 1-2-1 setting.

  • Maintain individual accurate participant records in line with GDPR requirements and the requirements of the contract.

  • Engaging employers to support employment outcome for learners, building long lasting partnerships.

  • Sourcing live vacancies and other intelligence on local and regional labour market developments to support participants obtain sustainable employment.

  • Providing in-work and ongoing support to participants and employers.

  • Maintain participant records using the CRM system and record regular contact with your participants, keeping them motivated and focused for the duration of the programme.

  • Building an up-to-date working knowledge of the local labour market and relevant support agencies is essential for success in the role. You will get to know the local employers in your community, understanding what they are looking for in an employee and encouraging them to interview your participant.

  • Support job searching and actively supporting your learners. Helping your learners to identify and develop their skills and abilities and to find suitable roles. Working in partnership with your participants to develop a clear journey into paid work.

  • To provide administrative support with the assessments of participants and scheduling of support provision.
