You will plan and execute internal and external client-facing events both in-person and virtually, for the purpose of business development and Firm-wide initiatives. This includes events in London, as well as EMEA, and globally.

The successful candidate will work with and support the London Events Team as well as the Global Events Team, Lawyers and Internal Teams with the development and implementation of an overall best practice approach to event management on behalf of the Firm., The EMEA Events Coordinator will work to plan and execute a diverse portfolio of in-person and virtual events, such as:

  • Client-facing, networking, and social events

  • Thought leadership seminars

  • Internal training and engagement events, as well as recruitment programmes

  • Retreats and global/regional webinars


  • You will also manage the production of in-person and virtual events, including:
  • Research, presentations, and site visits

  • Contract negotiations and vendor relationship management

  • Client/lawyer-facing event communication

  • Budgets, collateral, and on-site event management

  • Speaker, hotel room block, and travel management for large regional/global conferences


  • As the EMEA Events Coordinator, you will utilise your expertise in virtual events, to provide guidance and implement logistics to ensure seamless event execution. Moreover, you will work to manage administrative tasks, and collaborate with internal teams to handle venue memberships, coordinate billing, and uphold the Firm's values as its ambassador., We are a global law firm with longstanding offices in the markets that matter today. Our on-the-ground experience, our cross-border integration, and our depth of local, US and English-qualified lawyers help our clients work with confidence in any one market or across many.
    Location and Reporting
    This role will be based in our London office, and will report to the Events Manager, based in the United States.
    Our standard office hours are 09:30-18:00, with a current requirement for 3 days in the office per week.
    Please note that this role will involve evening, weekend hours and additional days in the office, based on Event support requirements.

  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in a legal services firm (preferred)

  • Willingness to work outside the parameters of a 09:30am-6:00pm working day as required, including early morning, evenings, and occasional weekends, as well as globally

  • Familiarity with local vendors and venues, fostering quick relationship development

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and adaptable to new systems, with excellent communication skills

  • Client-focused, adept at managing diverse stakeholders and prioritisation, and excels in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical abilities and is a collaborative team player

  • Proficiency in Cvent and InterAction CRM
