Email & Social Marketing Executive

This is a pivotal role in the team to help deliver a strong CRM programme through our email and social content activities to engage and delight our customer to develop their lifetime value. This is a great opportunity for a driven and passionate individual who is looking to take the next step up in their marketing career who also enjoys a hands-on approach and is passionate about customer service and value. This is a replacement role within the team who will be responsible for ensuring the successful and smooth performance of our targeted email communications and engaging online content.

What will you be doing:

• Work with the Email & Content Manager to plan, build & manage impactful customer lifecycle campaigns to build rapport and engagement with customers.



• Brief and execute email and social campaigns with our internal design and utilizing our email


platform to deliver to customers.

• Report on email performance and make recommendations for future testing opportunity to


improve engagements and commercial targets.

• Briefing and coordination of our offline catalogue mailing packs to target our customer


segments to ensure all assets are printed to strict deadlines.

• Create and maintain online content that support our SEO seasonal targets and improve the customer experience online.



• Maintain our social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram)



• Complete promotional set up for our offline activity within the online environment to


consistent and seamless customer experience.

• Set up and administration of our price lists, promotions and tracking processes.



• Supporting marketing manager with customer selections and data processing



• Reporting on performance and making recommendation for future improvements



• Liaise with external partners and suppliers to support our business.
  
  Must be methodical and process driven.



• Able to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously on time and to a high


standard.

• Experience of using email platforms and/ or CRM solutions would be advantageous.



• Experience using social media platforms from a marketing perspective- Facebook and


Instagram

• Good working knowledge of Google Analytics or similar analytics tool



• Copywriting skills to create engaging content across multiple channels.



• Keen eye for detail and ability to proof-read/ edit creative for images and grammar.



• Numerate; with strong knowledge and use of Excel



• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and oral



• Proactive, creative and inquisitive - always looking to improve.



• Preferably +2 years' experience in marketing

In addition to our main site with a 60,000 sq ft site, Chums has invested in a new second 15,000 sq ft warehouse and office space in March 2023 which is a dedicated hub for the marketing team at Chums.
