Electronic security engineer

We are currently seeking a fire and security service engineer with experience in fire systems, emergency lights, intruder alarms, CCTV systems and access control systems. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative to SSAIB and BAFE industry standards. The package is commensurate with experience, knowledge base and qualifications. Overtime is frequently available for which additional payments will be made. Basic hours are 37.5 hrs per week, with an expected average potential earning, including overtime, of £28 - 32k. This role includes call out shifts on a rota basis. Additional training can be provided for the right candidate., Carry out installations to industry standards, SSAIB and BAFE.
Carry out system commissioning and handovers to customers.
Carry out fault findings on systems.
Clear and concise communication with the supervisors regarding customer issues.
Electronic reporting and use of customer portals.
Effective control of stock & vehicle audit.
Awareness of Health & Safety.
To present a professional appearance.

Understanding of BS5839:1, BS5266:1 and BS7671.
Previous experience is necessary.
Must have full UK driving licence.
Good timekeeping.
Customer orientated.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
