Full Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Wraparound Coordinator to join our team and support the roll out of the early years reforms over the next two years. The reforms are the biggest investment in childcare to support working families and are being introduced in phases from April 2024.

The role of the Early Years Wraparound Development Coordinator will be to co-ordinate and implement the Government's Early Years and Childcare reforms across Trafford with a particular focus on Wraparound provision. The Coordinator will have lead responsibility for targeting funding and resources for Trafford's Wraparound Programme effectively, identifying gaps in provision. This will involve working in a collaborative manner with teams across the local authority; schools, families, childcare providers (including private providers, childminders, community and voluntary organisations and early years settings) to assess supply and demand and expand wraparound childcare provision that is accessible to all children and families, including those with SEND. Your role will involve the quality assurance of newly developed and extended places through visits, networking, and training., · Possibility of hybrid working between the home and the office, in line with business requirements and agreement from the line manager.
