Full Job Description

We are an Ofsted Outstanding, highly regarded, busy private Day Nursery with a full waiting list - owned and managed by Jayne White for 30 years. Open 50 weeks of the year from 8am - 6pm. We are an accredited Curiosity Approach setting, knowledge of this would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our established Ladybird Room (0-2 years) team. We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner with recent baby room experience to work alongside a small dedicated and experienced staff team. You must be qualified, enthusiastic, nurturing, motivated and articulate.

You will need to have had recent experience within the Early Years and you must have a very strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), have an excellent standard of both written and spoken English and be willing to embrace our ethos.

The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of the room including, developing nurturing relationships with families and children and assuming the key person role, observation and "In the Moment" planning for individual children, actively participating in providing interesting resources to inspire children, being part of a committed and enthusiastic staff team. Knowledge of Tapestry would be an advantage although not essential as full training will be given.

39 hours p.w 7.45am - 6pm 4 days a week.
